2005 started with deep wounds for millions of people around the world because of the tsunami disaster. World Harvest –compassionately responded to the crucial needs of the tsunami-affected people through its humanitarian emergency relief assistance. But the relief efforts alone will bring only short term solutions if it's not accompanied by long term transformational development goals.

The post-disaster period will require intensive rehabilitation and long-term recovery efforts to alleviate the human suffering of the afflicted Indonesians. Through “Hope for Aceh” World Harvest came up with new initiative “ Community Transformational Center ” or CTC to support capacities and reduce vulnerabilities of the tsunami-affected people in Aceh province . We have successfully implemented the CTC program in Neuhuen district, Aceh province that has served as a facility center, where people can receive medical assistance, education, job training, and crisis counseling.

We are inviting you or your company to partner with us to help the people of Aceh to rebuild their lives and future through your contribution. More help is still needed and we need your help to support our fundraising efforts to help the people of Aceh.

As an appreciation to our donators, we are going to hold “Hope for AcehBenefit Concert, which will take place at Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood, CA, on October 2nd, 2005 from 7:30pm to 10pm.

Please join us to help the people of Aceh rebuilding their life, to give them hope and a future. When ONE person cries and ONE THOUSAND responds, HOPE relives.
